Soldier's Song is a romantic musical about the lives of four young people, featuring 15 original & memorable songs. The story begins in Puerto Rico, where a local singer/songwriter (“Jose”) meets a wealthy girl from Charleston while performing in a nightclub. Over the next couple of months, they fall in love, only to be torn apart when Jose goes to fight as a U.S. soldier in Iraq. When Jose is captured by al-Qaeda, he hopes she will keep her promise to wait for him.
Soldier’s Song is directed by award winning actress & director, ANGELICA TORN and features a talented cast of four, including J.W. Cortes as “Jose”. Cortes is a Puerto Rican TV and movie actor who served as a U.S. Marine in Iraq.
