Thursday November 1st, 2007 - The Manhtattan Art & Antiques Center in partnership with the ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) will present a November month long exhibit and sale of animal art & antiques. Paintings, jewelry, sculpture, silver, rugs or any objects of art featuring animal, bird or fish motifs will be on view and for sale in the numerous galleries throughout The Center.
If you purchase art or antiques featuring animals during the month of November, you will have a positive impact on the lives of real animals because a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the ASPCA. Animals available for adoption will be at The Center in the ASPCA's state-of-the-art adoption van on Nov. 1,8,15 and 29 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Annemarie Lucas, Supervisory Special Investigator for the ASPCA's Humane Law Enforcment Division and star of the hit series, "Animal Precinct" on Animal Planet will make an appearance on one of the adoption days.
