From July 11-15, the DHL All-Star FanFest will mark its first visit to New York City in its 18-year history when it takes over the Jacob K. Javits Center for a five-day unrivaled experience for families and fans of all ages. This interactive baseball theme park will launch the 2008 Major League Baseball All-Star Week.
A once-in-a-lifetime experience capturing the thrills and excitement of baseball, DHL All-Star FanFest includes more than 40 interactive activities and historical exhibits such as life-size video batting cages and pitching cages, free autographs from Hall of Fame players and Major League Baseball legends, youth skills clinics taught by current and former MLB players and a historical look at the Negro League.
Hall of Famer Yogi Berra and eight-time All-Star Derek Jeter will serve as the official spokesmen.
