Saturday March 8, 2008 - Susie Orbach, Ph.D. will give a talk entitled “The Politics of the Body and the Body Politic: The Consequences of Globalism on Girls’ and Women’s Bodies.” This illustrated discussion looks at the impact on women as they try to forge a personal identity in a culture that promotes body hatred.  After Susie’s talk, join us for a Speak Out, a time-honored traditional forum for women gathered in large numbers.
