Come join your fellow adult snow enthusiasts at Miramar Ski Club’s annual Welcome to Winter party and open house on Thursday, November 8th, from 6 – 9 P.M. at 71 West 23rd Street, 2nd floor, in Manhattan. And it’s free!
Meet club members, find out about our weekly ski trips and our special events calendar, enjoy fine food and wine, enter raffle drawings for exciting prizes and learn about trip discounts. And did we mention it’s free?
The non-profit Miramar Ski Club is more than 50 years young and owns a lodge in picturesque Waitsfield, Vermont, a mere snowball’s throw away from Sugarbush, Mad River and Stowe. Weekend trips kick off in mid-December and run until April—or as long as there’s snow. The club provides charter bus service with two convenient pick-up locations in New York and New Jersey. The lodge sleeps 52, usually two to a room. Weekend trips include chef-prepared breakfasts and sumptuous dinners, cocktail hour drinks and hors d’oeuvres, and an open bar in the evening.
Skiers can also take advantage of Miramar’s Barbara Huntley Novice Downhill Skier Program, and receive a generous reimbursement towards a package that includes a lesson, lift ticket and equipment rental. So look out your long johns and join us on the slopes.
Plus, because Miramar is an all year round club, when we’re not skiing or boarding, we’re planning trips to our Vermont lodge for hiking, biking, kayaking, star-gazing or just relaxing. While in New York, we do everything from baseball games and concerts in Central Park, to walks, wine-tastings or betting on the horses at Belmont Park.
