Saturday, March 01 2008 - The Bronx Arts Ensemble presents legendary jazz pianist VALERIE CAPERS and her quartet in a gala concert on March 1, 2008 at 8 pm at the Russian Mission to the UN Residency in Riverdale, Mosholu Avenue at 255th Street.

The program will include classics by Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, George Gershwin and others. The program will be followed by a wine and cheese party to meet the artists. Performers will also include Alan Givens, flute and sax; Mark Marino, guitar; John Robinson, bass and Earl Williams, drums with special guest artist Latin percussionist, Ildefonso Castillo.

When: 8:00 pm.
Location: Russian Residency to the UN Mission Riverdale.
