Bring your Friends! WHEN: MONDAY, MARCH 10, 17, 24, 31 TIME: 6:30PM-7:30PM LEVEL: BEGINNER DESCRIPTION: This class is designed for those who have never danced before. MERENGUE is an upbeat and lively dance from the Dominican Republic. The steps are simple and all on the beat with accentuated hip circles and movements, often danced close. Merengue can be danced fast but is always easy and fun. You will learn the following: the basic step pattern, giving and receiving turns, proper body positioning and hands, footwork styling options, several turn combinations, hip isolations, music theory.
