April 22nd, 2008 - In July, 2007 The Village Pourhouse made the commendable commitment to do its part to help the environment. Help us celebrate Earth Day on April 22nd at 7pm with an evening of environmental awareness featuring organic beer, vodka, wine, notable speakers and product giveaways from Feed Granola, Plenty Magazine and more Tickets will include a complimentary Peak Organic Maple Oak Beer, Organic "Earth" Cookies provided by the Lower East Side Girls Club Bake Shop, light appetizers and a line up of speakers. 

Speakers currently include:
Mike Cardoux, one of the original brewers and co-owners of Peak Organic. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the Lower East Side Girls Club "Girls Gone Green" program. Girls Gone Green is an environmental educational awareness and leadership program.
