 Starting April 4th, 2008
- The World Famous Apollo Theater's Salon Series is a compelling series
providing both emerging and established artists with key critical
involvement in the creation of new works. This groundbreaking series
spotlights the Apollo’s continued dedication to its performing arts
programming and its support of artistic experimentation and dialogue
in contemporary culture. This April, the Advanced Copy Season will
premiere the works of artists who are pushing artistic boundaries to
the limit.
Artists scheduled to appear in The April ’08 Advanced Copy Season include:
4/4-4/5: Imani Uzuri with Her Holy Water: A Black Girl’s Rock Opera
4/11-4/12: Ayodele Casel presents Diary of a Tap Dancer
4/18-4/19: Guirllmo Brown- Shuffle Mode
