Bring your Friends! WHEN: THURSDAY, APRIL 24; MAY 1, 8, 15, 29; JUNE 5, 12 TIME: 6:30PM - 8:30PM LEVEL: BEGINNER DESCRIPTION: This is class is for those wishing to dance with a person of the Same-Sex regardless of sexual preferences and it is designed for those who have never danced before, danced very little, or those who dance Salsa ON 1. This class starts from the basics and moves through the essential steps to help you survive out there to feel confident enough to dance socially at parties and clubs. The first 1/2 hour of class will begin by breaking down the basic steps. 1 or 2 Shine (Individual Fancy Footwork) and Individual Turns. The next hour of class wil move into Partnering. The Leaders how to develop strong leading techniques and will teach the Followers smoothness, elegant styling (Accents), and basic body movement skills. Each week new steps and turns are taught and previous weeks' steps and turns patterns are reviewed.
